In our Maltese Australian family food is love. We learnt that from our Nunna, Dolores Parnis. We all grew up in her kitchen. Nunna's Kitchen honours our memories and celebrates The Parnis Family food traditions both past and in the making.
Hi Lisa, hope you remember me.:), this is such a cool idea. nice way to remember Nunna and Sonny. All I can say about Nunna that she was a woman of great convictions. and the kindest woman.Emanuel and I regarded her and all of you as family. And so we know the love you all shared with us when we were invited to all the family gatherings. And how can we forget the abundance of food at every get together? Sweet memories are never forgotten. May Nunna and Nannu And Sonny and all the departed rest in peace.
P>S> Lisa remember when I used to read you a story? I do:) Love to everyone. Doris.
ps again I remember the Zucchotto that auntie Carmen used to make. and of course auntie Maria’s cooking 🙂

Hi Doris,
Thank you so much. And of course i remember you! You were family. You always used to make me pancakes, even mickey mouse shaped ones and to this day they are one of my favourite things to cook & eat! I make the mickey mouse shaped ones for my niece and nephew. Maybe i will do a post about them! Thanks Doris!
